It is compatible with wire cutters of 2,5 y 3 m of width.
Although the wire tensioning by standard spring is enough in the narrow machines, once the length of the wire reaches 3 metres it is almost impossible to stretch it properly with a spring.
This is why our wider wire cutting machines are equipped (3-metre long ones have it included, and 2.5-metre long ones have it as optional) with a pneumatic tensor that makes it possible to increase wire tension by three times and as a result it offers the possibility of cutting twice as fast and obtain much better cutting quality.
Note
Although an air compressor is necessary to tighten the wires in the Wire-cutting machines equipped with a pneumatic tensor, this is not included.
Please, make sure to provide your own.
The recommended pressure is 5 – 6 Bar. (0,5 - 0,6 MPa). The pressure tap has an inner diametre of 4mm and an outer diametre of 6mm.
